This week, massive forest fires are affecting Alberta (Canada) and more specifically, Fort McMurray. That town is where a lot of people go to work, to earn money for their families they are often leaving behind for weeks or months at the time.

In our province of New-Brunswick, everyone knows or is related to a worker in Fort McMurray. I had a student a couple of years ago who moved there, with her boyfriend. They have a new baby and they are loosing their home to the fire.

I am part of a group of ladies who have put together a bundle of products for scrapbookers (digital and traditional) for iNSD. The Campus has contributed one tutorial binder (value of $29) as part of the bundle that will be on sale Saturday.

I was planning on heavily promoting this bundle to generate sales. I might still do that BUT I decided to donate all the proceeds of the sales of this bundle to help the displaced residents in needs.
